Installing
The Flash Player 1. Click on the following link which will take you to
the Macromedia Web Site where you can download the player for free 'http://www.macromedia.com'. 2. This will take you to the the flash plug-in page.
The page will carry out a small survey and ask a few questions regarding the type of your machine and your
email address etc. Answer these questions, if you are not sure, you need to download a Windows95 or Windows98
flash plug-in. 3. A small button next to the flash icon needs to be
clicked, and the free download of the flash player will begin. 4. After a couple of minutes, the software will have
been downloaded. You need to find where the file has been downloaded to and click on the icon twice with the
left mouse button. The computer will now begin installing the plug-in and after a few seconds, a message
will appear to confirm that the plug-in has been successfully installed. 5. Go back to the home page of the Luton Council and
you should be able to see the animation in the top right of your screen. 6. If you are still experiencing problems, email us by
clicking on the 'Contact Us' icon on the main page. You only ever need to download the flash plug-in once.
You may have noticed on the introduction page an animation that is played just
before entering the web site. If you cannot see this, then you need a small
'plug-in', which is a technical term for a Flash player that is needed to view
the animation.
